Historical Tick Data
The DSE's tick data encompasses the full market depth order book data messages that are published via the DSE real-time full depth Level 2 market data feed. This data allows one to reconstruct the order book at any point to assist with trading performance analysis, trading strategy testing and other uses. The DSE makes historical tick data available for its Equity and Bond markets, so parties can easily see the range of data available, make a purchase and obtain access quickly.
Educational Use
If you require historical data to support an educational activity, the DSE will consider waiving historical data fees as long as certain conditions are met. Complete the Historical Data Order Form and indicate that you need the data to support an academic activity.
International Securities Identification Number (ISIN)
An ISIN is a 12-digit code that is used to uniquely identify a security's issue, e.g. shares or bonds. It is currently the main method of securities identification worldwide. The DSE is the recognized numbering authority for issuing ISINs for Tanzania, as authorized by the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA).
